Wagering requirements: the sum a bonus actually costs

Wagering is the total amount that has to be staked before a bonus-derived balance becomes withdrawable. Everything else in a campaign — the percentage, the name, the artwork — is arranged around that figure. This page takes the calculation apart step by step, because this is where the most expensive surprises live.

Two bases, double the difference

The multiplier applies either to the bonus alone or to the deposit and bonus combined. One line in the terms makes the same number twice as expensive.

50 EUR50 EUR30×Bonus only1,500 EUR
50 EUR50 EUR30×Deposit + bonus3,000 EUR

100 EUR50 EUR25×Deposit + bonus3,750 EUR

Illustrative figures, not an offer. The binding numbers are in the campaign terms and belong in front of you before the checkbox.

Contribution: the same euro at different speeds

The second variable is how much of a stake each game category contributes towards the requirement. Slots normally contribute in full; table games and especially live rooms contribute a fraction. The logic is balance: a thinner house edge clears more slowly, because otherwise the promotion would be unprofitable to run.

The practical effect is larger than it sounds. At a twenty per cent contribution rate, a 1,500 EUR requirement becomes 7,500 EUR of stakes in that room. The multiplier looked ordinary; the obligation is not. This combination is the usual answer to „why is the balance not moving“ — and the answer sits in a table that is not part of the campaign text.

The deadline

Requirements expire. Unfinished progress does not carry over, and when the clock runs out the bonus and everything derived from it are voided. The deadline is also why a high multiplier over a short window costs more than a higher multiplier over a long one: time constrains how small the stakes clearing it can be.

Maximum stake while a bonus runs

An active bonus almost always brings a per-stake ceiling. Nothing usually blocks a larger bet technically, which makes this the quietest rule in the set: play continues, the condition is already broken, and the discovery happens at the withdrawal request. The clause lives in the general bonus rules rather than the campaign text — see the bonus terms page.

Losses count too

The requirement measures the sum of stakes, not their outcome. A losing stake advances it exactly as a winning one does. That matters because it separates two things people routinely merge: completing wagering does not mean recovering money, only that the balance becomes mobile. Finishing a requirement with nothing left is entirely ordinary and entirely within the rules.

Reading a requirement before, not after

  1. Find the multiplier and its base in the campaign terms.
  2. Multiply and write the figure down — it has to be visible, not approximate.
  3. Look up the contribution rate for the room you will actually play in.
  4. Divide the requirement by that rate. This is the real obligation.
  5. Compare it with the deadline and your budget. If it does not fit, this is not your campaign.

Step five is the one that protects anything. Declining costs nothing; a question to support after the fact costs an evening. The bonus map is on the bonus page, and the route out once a requirement is done is on the withdrawal page.

Frequently asked questions

Does the multiplier apply to the bonus or to everything?
It is stated in the campaign terms and the difference is a factor of two. A 30× requirement on the bonus alone and the same 30× on deposit plus bonus are not the same obligation.
How do I track progress?
Most accounts show a meter with the completed and remaining portion. If no meter exists, the player is left doing the arithmetic — which is itself a signal about how transparent the terms are.
Do losing stakes count?
Yes. The requirement measures total stakes, not results. That is exactly why clearing a bonus is not the same thing as winning money back.
What happens when the deadline passes?
An unfinished requirement voids the bonus and the balance derived from it. The clock is in the campaign terms and is not extended after the fact.
