The first deposit: a step that decides more than it looks

Funding an account seems like the simplest action available and is in fact where two decisions get made whose consequences surface weeks later: which method, and whether to take a bonus. Neither can be changed afterwards. This page walks them in the order they actually arrive.

Two things to settle before the cashier

Verification, finished. In an Estonian-licensed environment it runs on ID-kaart, Mobiil-ID or Smart-ID and takes minutes. Postpone it and you meet it again at the withdrawal, where it costs time instead. See the registration page.

Limits, set. A deposit cap and a time cap before the first stake — the only moment at which setting them is genuinely easy. The tools are on the responsible gambling page.

Choosing a method is choosing a payout

Withdrawals travel back along the route the money came in on. The implication is that a deposit method should be chosen for its return trip, not its convenience. The clearest case is paysafecard: fastest way in, no way out at all. The bank family — bank transfer or Trustly — is slower going in and has a working return path in euros. The full comparison is on the payments page.

The amount: small, not comfortable

A first deposit is not for playing. It is for watching how money behaves: where a manual review sits, how long verification really takes, whether the method performs as advertised. The smallest permitted amount, a short session and an immediate withdrawal request expose all of it at once, for the price of a few euros.

The bonus decision happens here

A campaign attaches at the moment of deposit and is not activated afterwards. If the terms have not been read — multiplier and its base, deadline, maximum stake — skipping the offer is better than accepting it under time pressure. The calculation is on the wagering page, and where a code is involved it must go in the same window, as covered on the promo codes page. This is also where the quietest trap lives: a non-qualifying method means the deposit clears and no bonus appears.

Five reasons money does not arrive

ReasonHow to check
The amount never left the bankRead the bank statement, not the casino balance
The account is not in your nameThe name must match the verified identity
The bank is holding the transactionUsually visible in the bank's own notification
A crypto transfer used the wrong networkThe network has to be confirmed before sending
The amount is below the method minimumEach method states its minimum in the cashier

The first two resolve without anyone's help. Once they are ruled out, a message to support is substantive and gets answered faster.

Fees usually come from the other side

Operators rarely charge for deposits. Costs appear elsewhere: wallet conversion, a crypto network fee, or a bank's outbound terms. A route that stays in euros throughout is therefore cheaper even when every column in the table reads zero — the mechanics of a network fee are explained on the crypto page.

After the deposit

Once the balance lands, the next step is the whole reason for the exercise: a withdrawal request. Its sequence, the same-method rule and the reasons requests stall are on the withdrawal page. The overview starts on the home page.

Frequently asked questions

Why has my money not arrived?
Three usual causes: the amount never actually left the bank, the payment came from an account in someone else's name, or the bank is holding the transaction for review. The first two can be checked before contacting anyone.
How large should a first deposit be?
As small as the method permits. The purpose of a first deposit is not to play but to watch money move — and the same small amount should be requested back immediately.
Are there deposit fees?
Rarely on the operator's side. Costs appear on the other side: wallet conversion, a crypto network fee, or a bank's terms for outbound payments.
Must I decide about the bonus straight away?
The decision is made at the moment of deposit and is not applied afterwards. If the terms have not been read yet, skipping the bonus beats accepting it in a hurry.
